Position Title:

VOLUNTEER COMMUNICATIONS AND OUTREACH ASSISTANT

❋ Open to

Any resident of Manitoba with a passion for theatre.

❋ Responsible to

Producer

❋ Description of role:

As a team member, promote and support the Festival as an annual event.

❋ Time Commitment

Flexible, as your personal schedule permits, with increased requirement in July (Fringe) and September/October in preparation for the on-stage Festival

  • ● Maintenance of a social media presence through Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok

    ● Build relationships with local artists and audiences to maintain and develop a community focus

    ● Act as an ambassador through a community and media presence

    ● Ability to develop and work with a team

  • ● Back stage experience

    ● Fundraising

    ● Outreach to rural and northern communities

    ● Recording skills

  • ● CV building for future employment

    ● Learn new skills in a supportive environment

    ● Networking opportunities

    ● Opportunity to exercise your creativity
