About the Company
The Old Elmwood Radio Theatre is the whimsical name of a group of actors, musicians, singers, technical specialists, and writers, from Elmwood and across Winnipeg, who tell and record stories using sound only. Formed by Stephen Gillies and Greg Holowka in 2023. Members of the troupe include Suzanne Rutledge, Diane McKenty, Matthew Gillies, Lexiss Jefferson, Kris Baldwin, Darcia Albrechtson, Karen Leonhardt, Christopher Gillies, Eileen Holowka, Robert Linsdell, Daniel Leonhardt, and John Sawchuk.

Have you ever been tempted? Jack, a failed contractor, has the opportunity to turn his fortunes around and then some when a mysterious benefactor offers him wealth, success, and fame. But is there a catch? Of course there is, according to the cautionary voices whispering in Jack's head.
Come meet Jack and some most unusual characters, in this entirely inaccurate musical retelling of the Faust legend. There's Melvin Phisto, a shady real estate magnate, three divine Muses from ancient Greece on assignment in Canada, and of course Charon, the disillusioned Underworld ferry-master who does not accept Interac. Together they engage in a quest for The Condo Down Under.
