Emergency Ops
Welcome to the digital stage of the AudiArts Festival, where you have a front row seat to original theatrical works created by Manitoba artists. This format allows the cast and crew to tell their story through music, sound effects, dialogue, and narration. You create the stage.
This performance of Emergency Ops was recorded on October 26th, 2025 as a part of the inaugural AudiArts Festival, created and produced by Linda Olson.
About the Show:
Written and performed by the multi-talented Hayden Maines, this fast-paced comedy has been modified from his Winnipeg Fringe 2025 play, to create an on-stage radio drama.
Maines plays five volunteer dysfunctional civil servant faced with the task of preparing their town against a tsunami of disasters while each member of the “team” strives to retain their own work-life-balance. And yes, Hayden has worked in Emergency Operations.
